Carnival Spooky Art Contest!

Calling all Travis artists! Students are invited to showcase their creativity by submitting an original piece of artwork inspired by autumn and/or Spooky Season for the annual Carnival Spooky Art Contest.

To enter the contest, purchase an official canvas from the PTA for $10 here. Canvases will be available for purchase until Tuesday, Oct. 13 and will be delivered on Wednesdays and Fridays each week.

Each student may submit one canvas for entry in the contest, and all entries must be turned into the Spooky Art box at the front desk by 3pm on Friday, Oct. 16. Be sure the student's full name, grade and teacher are written on the back of the canvas.

A winner will be chosen from each grade level, and there will be two grand prize winners – one from K-2 and one from grades 3-5, which will be selected from the grade level winners. The grand prize winners' artwork will be made into a vinyl sticker and distributed to all students in their respective age brackets.

All submitted artwork will be displayed inside the school for the entire community to view during the Carnival!

Art Contest deadline is Friday, October 16th at 3pm. Canvas sales will end Tuesday, October 13th at 9pm. Please allow your child enough time to make their artwork and turn in canvases to the front desk (in a bin marked “Spooky Art Contest”). Be sure your child’s name is on the back! Questions?
