Travis often uses Volunteer Spot’s free application as a tool for creating sign-ups for volunteer shifts. The free application works fine for one-time sign-ups, but it lacks the cohesiveness of having all volunteer opportunities under one Travis umbrella. Our new upgrade to a Campus Plan will give us the opportunity to go to the campus page and see classroom needs, sign up for an event shift like Carnival or Book Fair and even set up parent teacher conferences.
As teachers and organizers, it will be even easier to get the word out about your needs with sharable links and customizable group pages. With this plan, we can potentially track all your volunteer hours across groups, classes and events and have a reward ceremony for the end of the year Volunteer Appreciation Party!
