Travis Fall Carnival is Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m-4 p.m. Please read on for some important updates about the event’s festivities.
Rain or shine, the Carnival will go on. If the field conditions aren’t great and/or it’s raining Saturday, we’ll move the fun inside Travis. Please help us spread the word. There are many people outside of Travis who attend our Carnival, and we need your help letting them know.
Wristbands will be available for pickup at the Carnival. They’ll be held at the Spirit Store booth under your oldest child’s name and homeroom. Boo bucks (tickets) and wristbands will be for sale at the Carnival but expect long lines.
Are you known for your special peach butter? Do you make the best brownies in town? Are you from a different country? We'd love to have you participate in this new booth full of treats, snacks and jarred delights. We're seeking donations of homemade jams, jellies, pickles, chutneys and baked goods. Please have drop off contributions in the Community Room by Friday, Oct. 23. Contact Nichola Renfrew if you'd like to participate.
Thank you to all our sponsors! It’s not too late to sponsor or co-sponsor a booth. Visit Shop Carnival and check out the Booth Sponsorships. We’d love to have your support.
Carnival T-shirts are still for sale. Stay tuned to the PTA’s Facebook page for sale times. Any unsold shirts will be available for purchase at the Carnival.
Carnival Boo-Tique Doubles as Swap Shop
This year’s Carnival Boo-Tique will operate as a swap shop, so you may donate your costumes to trade in for others we have in the Boo-tique. Please attach any accessories to the costume. Costume donation box is located in the front hallway by the Community Room.
If you do not have a costume to swap, you may make a donation of up to $5 in the PTA lockbox, or return the costume after Halloween, so someone may use it next year.
