EVENT TICKETS AND CHILDCARE
Event tickets and childcare are available for purchase now on via the Handbid app (see below for details).
EVENT TICKETS are $45 each and include light bites and adult libations. Tickets are limited, so be sure to secure yours early!
CHILDCARE is provided by Kidventure and is for potty-trained children ages 3+. Cost is $5 per child and includes food, drink, and entertainment. There are 100 spots available, so don't delay!
HANDBID is the system we use for ticket management as well as all bidding for silent auction items. You will need to download the app to your smartphone and purchase tickets in order to be eligible to bid on silent auction items during the event.

Q. What is the auction?
A. The Travis PTA Auction is our most important fundraiser of the year as it accounts for 85-90% of our annual budget. Auction proceeds allow the Travis PTA to meet its mission of creating opportunities for education and engagement for Travis students, families, faculty, and community members.
Q. Why does the PTA fundraise?
A. The Travis PTA is directly responsible for funding many of the key programs at Travis. For example, the PTA pays for all science lab and garden supplies, Spanish curriculum and instruction, Writers in the Schools creative writing program, field trip transportation and admission, and much more.
Q. What are the class projects?
A. Every class produces a group project for sale at the auction. For example, in the past we've seen a picnic table group project painted by each student in the class, framed art work of a big butterfly made up of the kids' fingerprints, or a giant Jenga game containing blocks painted by each student. These projects result in some serious bidding wars and bragging rights.
Q. I've heard people talk about signup parties. What are they and how do I buy one?
A. Signup parties are one of the most popular items at the auction event. Signup parties are private parties, events, or experiences donated to Travis and hosted by families and other community members. New this year, party tickets will be available for online purchase regardless if you attend auction in person, giving everyone a chance to get in on the fun. There are always numerous sign up parties for both adults and kids. Some examples include an 80's themed bowling party, sailing in Seabrook, an Italian cooking class for kids, and a hayride through the Heights. Each party has a defined number of spots that are sold for a set price on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q. What are school experiences?
A. School experiences are donated and hosted by the teachers and staff of Travis. While some of these opportunities are exclusive to the auction event and are awarded to the highest bidder, a limited number of set-price experiences will also be available for purchase online for anyone, regardless of auction attendance.
